Editorial policy
Bold Theatre Review aims to explain theatre-making clearly and fairly. We distinguish established information from interpretation, correct errors openly and make commercial relationships visible to readers.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, terminology and factual claims against suitable available material before publication. When a subject admits more than one interpretation, we say so rather than presenting a reading as settled fact. We explain unfamiliar terms in context and avoid implying that a general example applies to every production.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial arrangements. Any paid or otherwise supported article will be clearly identified as sponsored or partner material, and relevant relationships will be disclosed. Partner placements are labelled so readers can distinguish them from editorial coverage.
Corrections and illustrations
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review correction requests and amend confirmed errors with clear wording; significant changes are identified where appropriate. Some illustrations may be AI-generated. When they are, we label them so an illustrative image is not mistaken for documentary evidence.
